Description of Manavgat Swim with Dolphins

Upon arrival at your lodging in our modern, cozy bus, the journey to Manavgat Swim With Dolphins kicks off. The ride to Dolphin Park takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon reaching, you’ll receive a briefing on how to interact with the dolphins, guided by an English-speaking instructor to ensure clarity and ease of understanding. It’s crucial to pay close attention during this briefing.

Your remarkable adventure of swimming with dolphins in Turkey begins once you step into the pool. The dolphins, known for their docility and obedience, will respond to your instructions, glide through the water, and participate in playful activities. There’s no reason for alarm; dolphins are renowned not just for their harmlessness but also for their protective instincts in the face of danger.

Participants will be grouped into small clusters of 3-4 for the swim in a specially designed pool, with each session lasting about 15 minutes. For your safety, it is mandatory to be at least six years old, free from injuries, and without any medical conditions.

Pick-up

Every day, the Manavgat Swim With Dolphins experience is available. Our team members will collect you from where you’re staying at an agreed time, and transport you to Dolphins Land Park.

Dolphins

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted with the opportunity to discover some engaging facts about the dolphins there. The park is home to the Black Sea’s button-nose dolphins. These dolphins, weighing in at 200 to 250 kg and aged between 10 and 12, have a diet preference for sardines and mackerels. They live in specially designed pools tailored to their needs.

Preparation

The park is equipped with numerous changing facilities for you to get into your swimwear, and life jackets are provided to ensure your safety. Once you’re ready, you can proceed to meet the dolphins.

Swimming Session

This program allows you to closely interact and swim with dolphins. Participants are divided into small groups and given the chance to enjoy a memorable swim. To join, swimmers must be at least 6 years old and competent in swimming. Measures are also in place for the safety of pregnant women and individuals with certain health conditions. Remember to bring your own towel and swimsuit.

Pictures

A professional photographer will be on hand to capture the special moments of your swim. You also have the option to purchase videos of your experience afterwards.

Return

After your time with the dolphins, a comfortable van will take you back to your accommodation in Manavgat.
